Cupping & Gua Sha
Cupping is a widely used therapeutic practice where silicone cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This suction helps enhance blood circulation, relax tight muscles, and reduce inflammation. It's commonly applied to treat conditions like muscle pain, back pain, and headaches, and is also effective for improving range of motion and promoting overall relaxation.
Gua Sha, a traditional Chinese medicine technique, involves gently scraping the skin with a smooth tool, typically made of jade. This process stimulates blood flow and lymphatic drainage, helping to alleviate muscle tension, pain, and inflammation. Gua Sha also supports improved circulation, strengthens the immune system, and fosters relaxation. It’s frequently used for issues like muscle soreness, headaches, and certain skin conditions.
